I was wondering if anyone who still visits this website owns land in Palm Bay Club... I am seriously looking at purchasing a lot (fell in love with Belize on a holiday last year) but spending 50K on something sight unseen is a little scary.

Real info and pictures seem limited online... This site has a few older threads, but nothing from current active users that reference they are owners. If anyone is, and kind enough please PM me so I can ask a couple basic questions.

Thanks in advance!

First of all, I am probably not the best one to give an opinion on this. Reason being that when I first came to Belize 49 years ago, if I would have bought the land where my condo now sits, it would have been an excellent investment.
Based on that experience of mine, I would say that if you are under the age of 5 years, or still yet to be born, the investment you are considering could possibly be a good one when you reach retirement age.

Palm Bay club land is beautiful. The area is undeveloped. I recall that there is a small wooden house that is used seasonally by the owner. Just to the south of the area is a small new resort which is not open yet and further south there is a marine park ranger station. The area is surprisingly busy because of fishing and tour boats from both Belize and Mexico. This is daytime activity. The cost to develop the property is very high due to the difficult access (boat only.) As a dream, remote getaway it us perfect if you are very wealthy. If not then you may want to consider using the land as a lovely campsite. Otherwise, although it is a long ways off, investment of a beach lot for $50K in the Caribbean is not a bad option. Everytime I go to that area I marvel over the beauty. I have seen Jaguar foot prints in the sand and there is a lot of wildlife that you don't see on the rest of the caye any longer due to development.

I didn't realize bywarren was as old as the hills (chuckle.)
