As the sun moves further south, so the ITCZ activity moves south. There was a large ITCZ swell-up just off our coast last night, that has moved up, causing a lot of heavy rain, almost all out at sea, the rain picture was 6am this morning, the rain is now further north away from Belize.
Looks like today will be sunny with white clouds, also with some high level cloud, so could be some rain later.
That large ITCZ swell-up is to the north, going up, causing a lot of rain, you can see how bubbly active it is.
It was something like that, but with other areas around it that they originally named "Harvey". I think they may have seen the strong downdraught below these ITCZ activity as very strong wind, so pinned the TS name to it. This one does not have anything around it, although there is a lot of moisture and clouds in the Caribbean, there is only slight rotation.
