The TS NATE went in to the east of New Orleans, close to Mobile last night and is now dissipating in land.
Went in fast, so probably caused less damage that feared. But it has effectively taken all that ITCZ activity out of the Caribbean and Pacific near Central America leaving us generally in a clear weather situation, although leaving one ITCZ bubble just north of the Yucatan. Our normal air flow is back to easterly, white clouds starting to develop in a new places, the thin high level cloud is from the NNE.
Looks like today will be mainly sunny, with white clouds developing, no rain anywhere seen on the radar.
