From Belmopan...

The large ITCZ clouds that normally develop over the Pacific are presently developing over the western Caribbean, but for the last few days, further east of Belize. So the main cloud over Belize is the Caribbean winds, but coming down from the north. There is also wind coming over Belize from the NW as a result of a recent cold front. There is also some high level air from the SW, which is clashing with the north winds, to produce some rain clouds, mainly over the sea.

Looks like today will be mainly sunny, but with significant clouds, rain patches mainly out at sea.

Temperatures in Belmopan :
( Coast usually cooler, hills even cooler ) Last night min. 23°C 74°F Yesterday max. 29°C 84°F

The Cloud & Rain picture: It is hard to see the NNW winds on this picture, but it is clashing with the NbyE Caribbean wind to cause the rain out at sea. The SW high level is not even visible on this picture, but it is there high up.
