Is everybody happy with the new BTL Fiber optic system?
I had the new BTL Fiber Optic cable installed to my store 5-6 weeks ago It still doesn't work. And there is apparently nobody at BTL that cares. I have talked with 6 different supervisors. Each supervisor said they would talk with the technician and call me back in 10 minutes. After 6 weeks and 6 supervisors, not a single one has ever called me back . They all gave me their extensions, but the phone just rings and there is no voicemail. The technician that worked on it last brought a supervisor. When they left, they said they would escalate it and have somebody come from Belize City to troubleshoot it. That was 2 1/2 weeks ago. And then, apparently the technician closed the work ticket as "fixed". BTL has some serious internal problems with their customer service. I just spent 2 hours on the phone and got nowhere.....again. I can't find anybody at any level that will "own" the problem and make sure it is fixed.I just want my old dsl modem back. There were no problems with that.
