The predominant winds are the easterly Caribbean winds, with patches of cloud, but there is higher cloud coming up from the SE that has caused a few showers from the Caribbean air. There is now a large area of high cloud coming up from Honduras which, although not presently causing rain, could result in significant patches of rain this afternoon or later today. There is another cold front out in the Gulf, but it is unlikely to come much closer.

Looks like today will have a fair amount of sunshine when the present thin overcast clouds thin, a few patches of rain possible.
