That yesterday evening was the largest Earthquake of the last 24 hours at 7.6 which is very significant, but this fault line is a lateral movement type, so sideways movement do not cause the same damage or tsunamies as vertical sub-ducting faults do such as California, Mexico, Guatamala,Chile or Japan do. Notice frequent activity in the Pacific by California and Chile along the Pacific and Japan, ranging from 2.5 to 5.0 But our one was 100,000 times more powerful than those 2.5 earthquakes.
NOAA is still not working and US Navy still stuck on Monday, you would have thought these organisations would be on the ball. :-( Presently clear sunny skies over most of Belize. There are a few small clouds moving slowly from the NNW the main cloud is coming up from the south, out over the sea.
The main action is out at sea, Caribbean air coming down from the north and some high level coming up from the south, but not clashing or causing any rain.
Looks like today will be mainly sunny, some white clouds developing later, no rain expected.
