The surface wind is still from the SW, but the high level overcast clouds are also from the SW, between them there is the cool air from the NW, but that is being squeezed away by the Caribbean winds from the east and now, by warm air and cloud pushing up from the south. It is this clash that is causing significant rain out at sea and some small patches on land with drizzle in many parts of Belize at present, which should ease up as the day warms up.
Looks like much of today will be overcast, with patches of light rain much of the morning, with odd areas of heavier rain, this afternoon, the sun might occasionally, just show through, but mainly a cloudy day.
