We have been to AC before, but stayed at Coco Beach. I realize its quite a haul up to TB, but will a water taxi pick up and take back to and from there? We would like to take a day and spend it in San Pedro. On the website it looks as though they will, but others say no. Advice?

Commercial water taxi to that location would be killer expensive. Better to ask TB about their own boat that goes to town and back with employees and supplies. they have always been very accommodating to their guests in the past.

Even though Coastal Express shows Tranquility Bay as a stop, their last stop north is Blue Reef, about 5 miles south of TB. You could ask them what they would charge to go to TB.

When the TB boat runs, the fare between TB and SP is US$20 each way. The TB boat will go to/from Blue Reef for US$10.

If you charter the TB boat to/from SP, it's US$100 for a small boat and $200 for a bigger boat.

I just stayed at Tranquility Bay over the weekend and the resort provided a boat for pick up and drop off - you just need to be flexible so that you can co-ordinate with when they are picking up supplies etc. It was well worth the visit. Awesome food, lovely ambiance and super attentive staff.
