From Belmopan...
Conditions are still similar to yesterday, but most of the rain
and swell-up activity is now down south, Toledo and the Honduras coast. Yesterday, Corozal had a good sunny day, but some rain in the evening, but Belmopan and much of central Belize had over 50mm ( 2" ) of rain, the highest for the last 12 months, except for two in October, spread out during the day and particularly evening and still some rain this morning, the ground is saturated. The Caribbean air coming in from the ENE is high humidity and the high level is still coming up from the south, clashing with the Caribbean air and causing rain.
Looks like central Belize will have much less rain than yesterday, but there could be rain in the north and or central, the rain in the south should be reducing but could be more rain at any time. There could be the odd patches of sunshine later.
Much of the country is under significant, potential Caribbean rain clouds, with southerly high clouds clashing, causing rain.
