On Ambergris Caye this morning we have a 20 mph wind from the E-SE and a rough sea state. The Barrier Reef isn't crossable and boats won't be visiting the sites on the other side. Our expected high today is 82f.

From Belmopan...

Despite the day starting off as a bright sunny day, there is rain showers over much of northern Belize and could be more coming in to central and southern Belize later this afternoon. Basically the weather is beginning to warm up as we approach March, but these large areas of cloud are still coming in from the Caribbean, causing much more than normal seasonal rain and keeping the day temperatures below the seasonal typical. Having had 200% the typical January rain and already 200% the February rain, leaving many parts of the ground very soft and muddy.

Looks like today will be similar to yesterday, sunny with some cloud and significant rain showers, presently in the north, but some coming to the south this afternoon.
