Belize NMS: Slightly moist conditions to prevail today.

24-hour forecast: Sunny with some cloudy spells today along with a few showers especially over northern and central areas. Then, tonight will be cloudy at times along with a few showers and periods of rain mainly over the south.

General Outlook: For Friday and Friday night is for a few showers and periods of rain mainly over the south, decreasing.

Undersea volcano Kick'em Jenny, north of Grenada near 12.18N 61.38W, is in a state of unrest. The government of Grenada advises mariners to observe a 5 km or 3.1 nm exclusion zone around Kick'em Jenny. Please refer to the webpage, www.nadma.gd, for additional information.

A pair of frontal boundaries are moving across the far northwest Caribbean waters with scattered showers. These fronts will merge over the western half of the basin during the next few days. The resultant front will continue moving east while weakening.

High pressure in the western Atlantic Ocean will support fresh to locally strong trade winds across the south central Caribbean Sea during the next several days. Winds will reach near gale force along the NW coast of Colombia during the overnight hours.

Marty OP	From Belmopan... Significant change to our weather, the Caribbean with many lines of cloud, coming in from the NE. There is fog in central parts of Belize and still some cloud moving down from the NNW The Caribbean cloud has developed significantly over much of central Belize, not only being effected by that NNW cloud, but also high-level from the SW This is presently causing patches of rain south of Belize City, some are hitting Belmopan. These small patches of rain could occur in any north and central Belize this morning. Looks like today is going to be a mixture of cloud, patches of rain and sunshine.
