General Situation:
Ambergris Caye: Conditions this morning by Elbert just before or after this post!
Belize NMS: A relatively moist northeasterly airflow will prevail today, with improving conditions expected tomorrow.
Advisories: *Small craft caution for gusty winds and occasionally rough seas.*
24-hour forecast: Sunny skies with some cloudy spells today and partly cloudy skies tonight. A few showers will occur mostly over southern and along some coastal areas today, then becoming generally isolated tonight.

General Outlook: For Sat. and Sat. night is for mainly fair weather with only isolated showers developing.

Undersea volcano Kick'em Jenny, north of Grenada near 12.18N 61.38W, is in a state of unrest. The government of Grenada advises mariners to observe a 5 km or 3.1 nm exclusion zone around Kick'em Jenny. Please refer to the web page, www.nadma.gd, for additional information.

A weakening cold front extends SW from SE Cuba near 20N77W to the Gulf of Honduras near 16N88W. The cold front will continue to weaken and is expected to dissipate by dawn. Only patchy cloudiness and isolated showers were observed along and up to 150 nm NW of this boundary. High pressure ridging extending SW from the Atlantic Ocean will support fresh to locally strong trade winds across central and western Caribbean Sea during the next several days. Winds will reach near gale force along the NW coast of Colombia during the overnight hours. Fresh to strong winds can be expected over the Windward Passage and to the lee of Cuba and Hispaniola.

elbert	On Ambergris Caye this morning the wind is blowing from the NE at 15 mph. The sea around our Barrier Reef is choppy. We have a sunny day with an expected high of 82 f. White Sands Dive Shop https://whitesandsdiveshop.com/

Marty OP	From Belmopan... There was a significant change in the weather patterns around us yesterday. Changes are continuing today. The Caribbean winds are still from the NE, with strings of cloud. There are areas of thin high-level cloud, causing some reaction with the Caribbean winds, resulting in scattered rain showers over much of southern Belize coastal areas, from just on the south outskirts of Belize City, down to the Belize Sarstoon river. These rain showers are likely to continue on and off for the next few hours. Presently most of northern Belize and Mexico is in bright sunshine, with very little cloud, but some cloud will develop in northern areas later. Looks like the weather in north and south Belize will be rather different, sun in the north, some rain in the south.
