General Situation:
Ambergris Caye: Conditions this morning by Elbert just before or after this post!
Belize NMS: Seasonably warm and dry conditions dominate our weather.

24-hour forecast: Sunny today and clear to partly cloudy tonight. Fair and dry weather will be accompanied by warm temperatures across the country.

General Outlook: For Sunday and Sunday night is for very warm temperatures across the country, while fair and dry weather conditions prevail.

The Caribbean Sea

10-15 kt tradewinds dominates the Caribbean Sea with mostly fair weather. Mid to upper-level ridging extending northward over the basin from South America is promoting a generally dry weather pattern. The only exception to this is over Hispaniola, where scattered showers are over the higher terrain. Shower coverage is expected to decrease during the next couple of days. Tradewind flow over the basin remains lighter than normal as low pressure systems moving eastward from the United States cause the ridge to the north to weaken. As a result, seas are running fairly low across the area, with the highest seas of around 5 ft occurring near the coast of Colombia. Little change in the weather pattern is expected during the next couple of days as the surface ridge to the north remains weak.

Marty OP	From Belmopan... Some strange weather this morning, haze out in the Caribbean sea with small clouds forming which then come on shore over north Belize coastal areas. Other cloud sitting almost stationary on Dangriga with a line of cloud moving northwards along the coast. But cloud over Honduras moving from the west. There is some thin high-level cloud crossing from the west. Looks like today will be mainly sunny, with increasing white clouds, reducing this afternoon, probably no rain, likely to be warmer than yesterday, last night was. Sea surface temperatures.
