Anke Doehm was committed last month to stand trial in the Supreme Court on a charge of child neglect in the death of her thirteen-year-old adopted daughter Faye Lin Cannon. The teenager died in questionable circumstances last July, her body a mass of scars and injuries that authorities believe were deliberately inflicted. Anke and her late husband David Doehm were jointly charged but by October, David committed suicide after inhaling nitrogen gas in his Princess Hotel room. Today, Anke made her first appearance in the Supreme Court, whose April session has commenced, but her name was not on the docket. After making checks, attorney Senior Counsel Ellis Arnold said he advised her to go back home and return for the next session which begins on June sixteenth.
