General Situation:
Ambergris Caye: Conditions this morning by Elbert just before or after this post!
Belize NMS: Generally fair weather conditions prevail over the area, then an increase in moisture is exptected during the next 24 to 48 hours.
Advisories: None.
24-hour forecast: Sunny with cloudy spells today and cloudy at times tonight. Showers will be isolated, except for a few more mainly over the south this morning and tonight.

The Caribbean Sea

A series of tropical waves will move westward across the tropical north Atlantic and Caribbean Sea through the middle of next week. Currently, two tropical waves are propagating across the basin, one moving across the western Caribbean, and another tropical wave is moving across the central Caribbean. Please, see Tropical Waves section for more details. Expect increasing showers and isolated thunderstorms in association with the passage of these tropical waves.

Fresh to strong winds are noted across the central and eastern Caribbean, as well as the Gulf of Honduras. Winds are near gal;e force off the coast of Colombia. Elsewhere, gentle to moderate winds prevailing elsewhere. Sea heights of near 11 ft are noted over the south- central Caribbean, with seas expected to build to near 13 ft over this area early this morning. Areal coverage of fresh to strong trades will decrease over the next few days, with strong winds mainly over the south- central Caribbean by midweek. Nocturnal winds will pulse to fresh to strong the next couple of nights in the Gulf of Honduras.

Marty OP	From Belmopan... There has been a swellup near south Belize, but it is moving southwards, away from Belize. There have been a few rain showers in the south, but they are reducing. The Caribbean winds are causing heavier streaky white clouds in from the SE this morning, some heavier enough to cause the odd light shower anywhere, but not much. These showers could increase later today. The Monsoon band is well to the south at present. Looks like today will be generally sunny, but with heavier white clouds and the chance of the odd rain shower. Marty OP	The Cloud picture. Generally light white clouds streaming in from the Caribbean. But one oddity, a single cloud appeared north of Belmopan, moving from the north. It has ploughed its way through the Caribbean white clouds, but instead of causing rain as would usually be the case, it has left a clear sky behind it, and now it has evaporated away.
