From Belmopan...

There has been a swellup near south Belize, but it is moving southwards, away from Belize. There have been a few rain showers in the south, but they are reducing. The Caribbean winds are causing heavier streaky white clouds in from the SE this morning, some heavier enough to cause the odd light shower anywhere, but not much. These showers could increase later today. The Monsoon band is well to the south at present.

Looks like today will be generally sunny, but with heavier white clouds and the chance of the odd rain shower.

The Cloud picture. Generally light white clouds streaming in from the Caribbean. But one oddity, a single cloud appeared north of Belmopan, moving from the north. It has ploughed its way through the Caribbean white clouds, but instead of causing rain as would usually be the case, it has left a clear sky behind it, and now it has evaporated away.
