General Situation:
Ambergris Caye: Conditions this morning by Elbert just before or after this post!
Belize NMS: Generally fair conditions will dominate our weather during today and tonight.
Advisories: None.
24-hour forecast: Sunny skies with a few cloudy spells today and partly cloudy skies tonight. Showers will be generally isolated, except for a few showers or an isolated thunderstorm over southern and inland areas.

The Caribbean Sea

GOES-16 RGBs continue to show a thin layer of Saharan dust moving across most of the basin where strong deep layer wind shear prevails. This environment continue to suppress the development of significant convection in the region. However, abundant shallow moisture is across the basin supporting isolated showers and tstms within 90 nm off the S coast of Cuba. The monsoon trough supports similar convection within 120 nm off southern Panama. A tropical wave is in the W Caribbean lacking convection while an upper level low over the central basin support scattered to isolated showers in the vicinity of a tropical wave just W of the Mona Passage. Otherwise, fresh to near gale force winds in the south-central Caribbean are forecast to increase to gale force in the Gulf of Venezuela and off the coast of Colombia Wed and Thu, respectively. Marty OP	From Belmopan... There is a lot of thin high cloud from the north, but mainly over Guatamala, there is a little over the coastal Yucatan, but that is unlikely to effect Belize, although it could effect Corozal later today. The easterly Caribbean only has chunky cloud over southern coastal areas, causing very little rain. Looks like today will be mainly sunny for most of us, just a small chance of a few rain showers, mainly in the south. Marty OP	The Cloud and rain picture. There are the odd clash, as you see down south, causing some rain. Lines of typical clouds have built up over most of the country now. So we now have typical sun and cloud.
