There is a large ITCZ swellup covering most of southern Belize this morning, causing rain patches. This has resulted from numerous swellups all along the Honduras coast, causing this one over Belize and throwing off high level cloud, which now going over northern Belize in a curve. There is also a line of small swellups in the Caribbean behind this large one, which might bring rain in later. The rains in May, Jun and July were very significantly below they typical, but August was exactly on the normal rainfall. I have noticed cloud developing just off the African coast, T.S. FLORENCE is rotating some. .
No threat to land for at least the next five days and then the track is projected to curve north/ northwest. Likely no threat to Belize.
Looks like today is going to be rather mixed, rain and cloud for the south, patchy cloud, sun for the north.
