From Belmopan...

There has been a large swellup right over most of Belize, casing a very large area of rain, some patches were very heavy, but that is now slowly moving away to the west. The ESE Caribbean winds have a fair amount of cloud in them and there is high level from the NNW Just a few areas of sun in the north, but also some small swellups occurring right now, so the north also has scattered rain. It will probably take some hours before the lighter rain or drizzle stops in west Belize, but most rain now stopped along the coast.

Looks like today will be overcast for most of the morning, still with the odd rain shower, after the present light rain has cleared later this morning.

Temperatures in Belmopan :
( Coast usually cooler, hills even cooler ) Last night min. 23°C 73°F Yesterday max. 31°C 87°F

TS GORDON has increased in strength and size, and will cause problems for some along the Louisiana coast later this afternoon and night.

Meanwhile H FLORENCE continues up across the Atlantic, and also increasing strength. With a possible another one behind, just coming off Africa.
