New Restaurant Pays Tribute To Belize's Fishermen

Opening this past weekend in San Pedro, Ambergris Caye, Belize is the island's newest themed restaurant that pays tribute to Belize's fishermen/anglers, as well as delivering a delicious menu highlighted by seafood dishes. Anglers Restaurant Bar is the brainchild of Sanpedrano, island resident Giovanni Marin who has been an entrepreneur on the island for quite some time now. His restaurant picks on his love of the sea and growing up in a family full of fishermen and tourist guides.

Giovanni and his wife Maribel, did the honors of cutting the ribbon to their new business venture and invited their friends and guests to enjoy an afternoon of great food, drinks and views from their second floor deck. The restaurant has a large underwater mural as a backdrop to the nautical theme that is reflected all throughout the restaurant. The bar's countertop and walls contain fish artwork prepared by Giovanni and includes a 'Wall of Fame' were they will display pictures of fishermen with their prized catch and tournament wins. Anglers Restaurant Bar is located on the corner of Angel Coral and Tarpon Street (Back Street) on the second floor across from A & R store.
