Belize Chocolate Company wins Silver at the International Chocolate Awards
The International Chocolate Awards founded in 2012 is an independent competition recognizing excellence in fine chocolate making. As the World’s only fully independent international fine chocolate competition, their aim is to support companies producing fine chocolate. By helping these markets to grow and develop, they also aim to support the farmers that grow fine cacao.
The 2018 Americas competition saw a record number of entries from North and Latin America and the Caribbean with over 800 products entered by 130 chocolate companies from 16 different countries. Belize Chocolate Company, established in 2007, is a family owned bean to bar craft chocolate manufacturer based on Ambergris Caye. They process organic, direct trade cacao beans from small family farms in the Toledo district of Belize. Owners Chris and Jo Beaumont would like to thank all their customers for their continued support and look forward to producing more award winning Belizean chocolate.
