The Caribbean Sea
A tropical wave is moving across the far western Caribbean, and a
portion of this wave is entering Central America.
The eastern Pacific monsoon trough combined with diffluence aloft
continues to enhance convection over portions of Panama and the
waters of the southwest Caribbean from the coasts of Panama and
Costa Rica northward to 13N and eastward to 78W. Plenty of
moisture will persist over the extreme southwest Caribbean, Panama
and Costa Rica through the weekend. Elsewhere, fresh to strong
winds prevail over the central Caribbean. These winds will
diminish across most of the basin by tonight.

From Belmopan...
Again, rather confusing weather, there is a mishmash of easterly clouds, stringy, clumpy and even blanket Caribbean cloud coming in, but with two different directions of high level cloud, but mainly from the west or WNW. This all means varying thickness of cloud over most of Belize right now, and with swellups presently developing off the coast. This has resulted in rain overnight, in many different parts of Belize, mainly the south, but now the rain is developing around the coastal areas of central Belize. But no doubt rain will appear in other places throughout the day.
Today will be mainly cloudy, probably little chance to see any sun, rain developing in any part of Belize at any time, some patches could be heavy rain, presently coming in from the SE but generally not prolonged rain.
Temperatures in Belmopan :
( Coast usually cooler, hills even cooler )
Last night min. 23°C 73°F Yesterday max. 31°C 87°F
