My husband and I are going to Belize on May 18 and staying until May 25. I've been trying to decide if we need to bring water tablets or bottled water with us. We are staying at Ramons.

The water is perfectly safe to drink, although it has a VERY heavy chlorine content. Ramon's will provide bottled water for the room, for taste purposes only. The tap water is really great for washing out whites, without the pesky bother of adding bleach.

Yea, Chlorine is perfectly safe to drink. It causes damage to your liver, heart, kidneys, nervous system and your unborn kids. Hey, but what do I know, right?

Old Mom - I don't know what building number. We are staying in a garden cabana. Did you see the garden ones? We were going to stay a Journey's End first but after watching the post here we decided we'd like easier access to everything.

I drink bottled water when in SP, however, I do enjoy that I can safely brush my teeth with tap water. I also like knowing that I can (and have done) drink the tap water if I'm thirsty and have run out of bottled.
A fish and a bird can fall in love, but where will they build their nest?
