On Ambergris Caye this morning we're enjoying a week of good weather. The sea is flat calm again today and the temperature should be in the high 80's. A nice sunny day.

From Belmopan...

There is a line of easterly Caribbean cloud coming in, which could result in a few rain showers later today. There are traces of high level cloud from the SW today, that could thicken by this afternoon, which could result in some swellups.

Looks like today will be mainly sunny, with white clouds developing this morning, there could be some swellups this afternoon with some rain showers, not clear where as yet.

There is a significant ITCZ swellup in the Caribbean just off Panama, that we should watch closely. No indication of developing, but it is close to us, so it it was to develop, it could be on our door step in just a couple of days.

The weather people have put a name to that out in the north Atlantic, "Oscar" There has been a storm or depression moving up the Pacific from Panama towards Mexico, again of no significance to Belize, although it might have helped our recent dry days.
