On Ambergris Caye this morning it's sunny. The breeze is from the East-SE and the sea around our barrier reef is calm. Today's expected high temperature is in the upper 80's.

From Belmopan...

Changes on the way. There is significant mid level cloud coming in from Mexico and Guatamala, from the NW with significant chunks of cloud in it, which will clash with the easterly Caribbean cloud as that develops this morning. And at the same time, there is high level cloud from the SW, causing swellups just off PG. There are patches of rain in a number of places, most off the coast and just developing where it is, not moving in any direction. There is a line of cloud across the Gulf, starting from swellups in the Pacific and extending right up the east side of the US, looks like the first cold front of the year.

Looks as if there will be a fair amount of sunshine, at least this morning, with significant cloud developing later today, bringing with it the chance of rain, perhaps some heavy, even some thunder.

Temperatures in Belmopan :
( Coast usually cooler, hills even cooler ) Last night min. 24°C 75°F Yesterday max. 31°C 88°F
