On Ambergris Caye this morning the sea around our barrier reef is calm. We have a breeze from the E-NE.
The expected high temperature for today is in the low 80's.

From Belmopan...

Rain, rain, rain here in Belmopan, I have recorded 70mm ( 3") of rain over the last 15 hours. This has been more than just high level air clashing with the Caribbean clouds, it has involved the replacing of the cool air we had last week. But oddly this has not effected the north of Belize, mainly central Belize. There is still more rain coming in, but hopefully less than the last 15 hours.

Looks like today, at least for central Belize, will be another heavy cloudy day with significant patches of rain, some rain and cloud in the south, but the north light clouds, no rain and significant sunshine.

Temperatures in Belmopan :
( Coast usually cooler, hills even cooler ) Last night min. 23°C 73°F Yesterday max. 24°C 75°F

The Cloud and Rain picture. Very heavy clouds over central Belize continue, bringing more rain, some heavy. There are two swellups also, over central Belize and another just out at sea, just south of Belize city.
