This educational video is the third in a series of documentary videos and accompanying posters which highlights Belize's Cultural Celebrations, and forms part of a broader initiative to implement the UNESCO 2003 Convention for Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Belize. The documentary presents the history and origins of the Christmas Bram, as well as descriptions of the Bram as it is currently practiced. It includes interviews with community elders, musicians, dancers, and cultural resource persons, along with the sound of the brokdong music.
