From Belmopan...
I have had to wait for the satellite picture to get into daylight. Presently the mornings are not yet getting light any earlier, but the evenings have been staying light later for about two weeks.
You can see all those clumps of cloud in the Caribbean easterly air movement, presently very little cloud over Belize, but it is developing and there has been fog or low flying cloud in some parts, that is now lifting. Later today, we may be getting some of that cloud coming in, which has been causing a little rain up in the Yucatan. There is no rain in Belize at present.
Looks like today will start of sunny as the fog clears, then white clouds developing, but heavier clouds might come in this afternoon with a small possibility of some rain showers.
Temperatures in Belmopan : ( Coast usually cooler, hills even cooler )
Last night min. 22°C 71°F Yesterday max. 29°C 84°F Yesterday Rain 0.8 mm ( 0.03" )
Clouds are building over Belize as expected and there are larger areas of cloud coming in from the Caribbean, some of which is causing a little rain. But there is now something else happening, not clear yet, but a multiple front moving in from the NW, causing a line of high cloud coming towards Belize from the west, which will be causing more cloud cover later today, but it also has an advanced front, now out at sea, which may cause the Caribbean clouds to produce more rain, presently, just a little bit of rain.
