Wolfe’s Woofer: Special Gift
Where’s Wood Leg?” Vernon asked. “I thought he was playing pool with us tonight.”
“Don’t worry about Wood Leg Pedro,” Mario said. “He’ll always show up to shoot pool. He’s probably just out chasing some girl.”
“He does like the ladies,” Vernon said.
The NoSéNada Sports club was warming up for our weekly pool tournament. When a wife or girlfriend asks about one of the club members, our stock answer is “No Sé Nada,” which translates loosely as “I don’t know anything.”
“Sorry I’m late,” Wood Leg said, when he arrived a few minutes later. “I was at the jewelry store.”

Doctor Love: Live-in Relationship
Dear Doctor Love,
I am a gay male and for the first time in my life I want a live-in relationship with a man I have been dating for over a year. We are great together. We share similar ideas of nutrition, exercise, politics and religion and such. I’ve opened up with him emotionally where as previous arrangements were purely sexual and never emotional or intellectual.
My question is about monogamy. While I understand that monogamy means not having physical relations with another, does it mean giving up all sexual interests other than inside the relationship?

The Ministerial Gods
By Neri Briceno.
The modern post-presidential pension scheme in place for US Presidents who are no longer in office can probably be attributed to one president – Harry S. Truman. After leaving office, Truman was virtually broke except for his military pension and literally struggled financially. Upon leaving office, Truman turned down several lucrative offers for commercial endorsement and positions on corporate boards because he believed that it would diminish the integrity of the nation’s highest office.

Caye Caulker or San Pedro (Ambergris Caye)?
Just in front of the Belize coast are several islands, also called caye’s. The most famous islands are Caye Caulker and San Pedro (also called Ambergris Caye). We visited both islands and in this blow, we will tell you which of the two islands we can recommend and why!
Caye Caulker is a small island less than eight kilometres long and only one kilometre wide. It is about a 45-minute boat ride from Belize City.
Ambergris Caye, also called San Pedro after the only city on the island, borders Mexico. It is officially not an island but a peninsula, although you don’t notice much of that. You can reach Ambergris Caye by boat in 1.5 hours from Belize City.
Five things to do on Ambergris Caye (San Pedro) in Belize
After travelling through Guatemala for more than two weeks, we cross the border and arrive in Belize. We have decided to first visit the peninsula Ambergris Caye. Ambergris Caye turns out not to be really ‘our thing’ but in the end, we have a nice time here. In this blog, I will tell you how you can make the best of your time on Ambergris Caye.
Ambergris Caye often called San Pedro after its main city, is a long peninsula right off the coast of Belize. With 40 kilometres it is one of the largest Cayes (islands) of Belize. At the top, it borders to Mexico. You can easily reach Ambergris Caye by plane or by boat from the port of Belize City. From the port, the Belize Water Taxi and Ocean Ferry Belize will take you to the port of San Pedro in 90 minutes.
Sew What! Starting Small And Growing a Business on Ambergris Caye
Sew What! is an impressive business that’s been growing on Ambergris Caye over 15 years ago.
Now, with two locations, they make so much – cushions, inside and out, upholstery, window shades, awnings, boat and golf cart cushions, almost everything that can be sewed – except clothing.
Owner Kate Vincent agreed to answer a few of my questions…about how she made it to Ambergris Caye and how she started a sewing, upholstery, fabric business on the island. To share what she does.
