Arriving at Ramons in a week. Anyone stayed there recently? What were the conditions? Anything abnormal going on to be aware of?

I stayed at Ramon's last October. The grounds were nice, the pool was good and the poolside bar was good. But I was really disappointed with the room. Room was very small for the price we paid. Don't think I will stay there again. I am going back in a couple of weeks and staying at the Blue Tang

patrickH - I know what you mean but did you really spend a lot of time in your room? They say you can (with a little insistence) get a small fridge in the room. Do you know if this is correct. Does it appear safe to let our 12 year old son run loose? Heck, forget the 12 year boy - what about our 20 year old daughter?

Stevie, Last July I took my 20-year-old daughter and her same-age girlfriend. Tell your daughter to be prepared for LOTS of attention, and to use her good sense. My 'girls' had dates for that night before we ever got our bags and left Tropic Air in San Pedro.
