General Situation:
Ambergris Caye: Conditions this morning by Elbert just before or after this post!
Belize NMS: A relatively moist airflow prevails over the area.
Advisories: None.
24-hour forecast: Cloudy at times along with a few showers offshore and over some coastal areas this morning and again tonight, as well as over inland areas this afternoon. Otherwise, showers will be isolated.
Winds: East-Northeast | 5-15 kts, Sea State: Choppy-Moderate

General Outlook: For Monday and Monday night is for a few showers mostly over northern areas Monday morning, decreasing by the afternoon and becoming generally fair through Monday night.

The Caribbean Sea

Relatively dry air covers most of the Caribbean basin. However, isolated low-topped showers are seen across much of the basin. An earlier ASCAT pass from late Saturday evening showed strong to locally near gale winds S of Cuba N of 20N between 78W-81W. The scatterometer pass also showed near gales to locally gale winds off the coast of Colombia, where a gale warning is in effect. See section above for details. Fresh trades cover most of the remainder of the basin.

Strong high pressure building across the western Atlantic through Tue will maintain strong to near gale force tradewinds across the S central Caribbean, pulsing to minimal gale force near the coast of Colombia each night through Tue night. Fresh to strong trades will expand to most of the central and NW basin through Wed morning, including the Windward Passage and waters in the lee of Cuba today through tonight. A cold front will stall near the Yucatan Channel Wed afternoon before dissipating.

Marty OP	From Belmopan... And still the cloud thickens as the easterly Caribbean string and clumpy cloud comes in over land, causing rain in many places just inland, down the coast line. There appears to be some extra cloud over land that is interfering with the Caribbean winds and making the clouds thicker. Looks like to day is going to be changeable, a lot of cloud around in most parts, but also significant sunshine in many central and northern parts, some rain showers continuing just inland, on and off for most of the morning. Marty OP	Tomorrows WEATHER for - Mon 11 Feb 2019 Thought I had done this hours ago. The Caribbean winds are back to easterly, but there appears to be other things happening. More cloud developing over Honduras and bring patches of rain in our way. There appears to be SW high level winds clashing with the Caribbean clouds, causing heavier clouds with rain in them. Looks as if tomorrow morning could be rather mixed, possible a lot of cloud down south with patches of ran and smaller lines or patches of cloud further north, with some isolate rain in the morning.
