On Ambergris Caye this morning we have a Northerner and light rain with a heavy overcast sky. The expected high temperature for the day is in the low 80's.

From Belmopan...
The cool front came down over Belize over night causing our air to be Warmer, yes warmer. The heavy line of rain also passed overnight, presently little or no rain anywhere, but a lot out at sea, the worst of it was to the north of Belize. This now means the clouds are coming in from the west, but the surface wind is from the SW. There is fog over the mountains, but clear skies in most of the south.
Looks as if today will be rather patchy, sun and cloud, sunnier in the south, cloudier in the north, presently, no indication of any more rain, but there could be some isolated rain showers later.
Temperatures in Belmopan :
( Coast usually cooler, hills even cooler )
Last night min. 23°C 73°F Yesterday max. 30°C 87F Yesterday Rain 3.3 mm ( 0.13" )

The cool air coming down from the USA across the Gulf from the NNE is swinging round and crossing Belize from the NW bringing two different types of cloud with it, some small chunks or patches of cloud, other larger areas, this is probably as a result of the high level air from the SW There is no sign of any rain in or with any of this, just cloud, but it has stopped and pushed the easterly Caribbean winds away.

Tomorrows WEATHER for - Thu 14 Feb 2019The cool air continues down from the north, not that it feels cool here. There are two types of cloud amongst that, plus the occasional high level wind stripped clouds. There are still a few rain showers around, but not much now. Looks as if tomorrow Thursday will be fairly dry and fairly cloudy, or at least patchy cloudy, but with a small chance of the odd rain shower
