Belize NMS: A moderate easterly airflow prevails over the area.

24-hour forecast: Skies will be sunny with some cloudy spells today and cloudy at times tonight. Showers will be isolated except for a few more and the chance of an isolated thunderstorm inland or in the north this afternoon, then over the south tonight.

The Caribbean Sea

A tight pressure gradient between the Bermuda 1025 mb High and the Colombian low is forcing winds of near gale over the central Caribbean and reaching gale just north of Colombia. No significant deep convection is occurring over the Caribbean. See the Special Features section above for details about the Gale conditions and forecast discussion.

High pressure north of the region will maintain fresh to strong trade winds across the central Caribbean and Gulf of Honduras during the next several days. Winds will increase to gale force along the coast of Colombia, through Wed. Long period north to northeast swell will move through the Atlantic waters and Caribbean Passages east of 65W through Tue.

OP Marty	There has been a little bit of rain around over night, most of that is or has now stopped. The Caribbean easterly winds do have some cloud in it that could cause a bit more rain this morning, no high level cloud in our area. Looks as if today will be mainly sunny, with significant clouds, only a small chance of some rain. Temperatures in Belmopan : ( Coast usually cooler, hills even cooler ) Last night min. 23°C 73°F Yesterday max. 30°C 87°F Yesterday Rain 0 mm ( 0.00" )

OP Marty	Those Caribbean easterly winds with that heavier cloud are, right now, causing isolated rain showers.

OP Marty	Tomorrows WEATHER for - Tue 26 Feb 2019 The Caribbean winds are becoming more normal again, that band of rain having now passed right over the Yucatan. Looks as if tomorrow Tuesday will be back to mainly sunshine with significant clouds and only a small chance of rain.
