Wow. ! We need that rain so badly, we were down in to drought conditions. I don't know how much of the country got rain last night, Benque and Jallon Jug are probably still clearing up the flooding. Belmopan had over an inch of rain, spread over about 4 hours, which will have been very good for the ground.
Presently the skies around are in absolute chaos, with different winds moving in about 5 different directions, clouds moving in from the Caribbean, cool air from the cold front moving down from the north, the high level from the SW, a front line now just out in the sea, but the surface wind is strong from the SW this morning, yet despite all those different winds, there is no rain presently in Belize, only one of the Radar images is actually working right now.
So much chaos that it is difficult to guess what might happen, looks like mainly a cloudy day, there should be a little more rain out of some of those clouds, but there is no indication of that at present, parts of Belize are having sunshine presently, mainly Stann Creek district.
Temperatures in Belmopan : ( Coast usually cooler, hills even cooler )
