Belizeans who travel very regularly to Mexico can now get a Regional Visitor Card to cut through the immigration red tape.
The card - known as the TVR - is free and can be obtained at the Chactemal Immigration office at Belize's northern border. It allows cardholders to travel up to 7 consecutive days to the Mexican states of Campeche, Quintana Roo, Chiapas, Tabasco and Yucatán. It is not valid for any other state in Mexico.
