As you can see, the cloud activity in the Caribbean that brought that soft start to our rainy season, has now moved further away into the central Caribbean. The main ITCZ activity is still to the south of us. Only a small amount of rain near PG this morning. There is significant ITCZ activity over parts of West Africa, where is where Hurricanes usually start, but none at present. There have been hurricanes in April, in fact one started in the Pacific, then very unusually crossed into the Caribbean, turned and came across Belize, and I believe the first ever tropical storm to be named when it was already on land.
