Becky G will perform at the 2019 International Costa Maya Festival

It's Official! Becky G has been confirmed by the International Costa Maya Festival to be the Highlight Performer on International Night in San Pedro, Ambergris Caye. Festival runs July 26, 27, and 28, 2019! Noche San Pedrana is also back, and will be held on July 20th. The announcement was made this morning at the Reef Radio Morning Show.

The International Costa Maya Festival committee is looking forward to a successful 2019 festival! Ticket prices and more information will be posted as they are released.

We will reinstate the "Noche San Pedrana" as a street affair and commemorate it through a huge block party to introduce the delegates and have the preliminaries for the pageant. This will take place on Saturday, July 20, 2019

MISS COSTA MAYA 2019 DELEGATES

With a newly motivated committee in place, the annual International Costa Maya Festival - Reignited is working on an exciting array of events, including the highly anticipated Reina de la Costa Maya pageant. The 2019 International Costa Maya Festival pageant is set to take place on Friday, July 26th at the Honorable Louis Sylvestre Sporting Complex in San Pedro Town. Honduras' Mary Cruz Cardona Galindo is the proud 2018 titleholder, and she will be handing over the crown to one of eight beauties hailing from Belize, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua and Panama. The pageant committee is pleased to introduce the first two candidates that will be vying for the title of Reina de la Costa Maya 2019: Miss Guatemala and Miss Costa Rica.

Lisbeth Valverde Brenes is an educational psychologist by profession, with an emphasis on working with people with disabilities. Her hobbies include swimming, singing, dancing, and involving herself in social work. She describes herself as an extrovert who very much enjoys conversing and making others laugh. An unforgettable moment in her life has been accomplishing getting accepted at a university with a rigorous acceptance rate to pursue her dream career where her passion of using her voice for the children and persons vulnerable by society due to social injustice led her to. As such, Lisbeth has learned to listen to others and has become exceptionally well at being social and communicative.

She has since become very passionate about doing social projects that involve the younger generation in the activities as she aims to motivate them to become agents of change. The greatest gift she has received in her life is her education as it has allowed her to grow and mold herself into a better person, developing goals that she is aiming to accomplish. Nallely is very excited about beauty pageants as it is through them that she has achieved personal growth and come to meet countless people with who she has formed unbreakable friendships.

More Costa Maya Beauties announced! Miss Mexico and Miss Panama....also Super G to perform for International Night!

This week we introduce to you the Miss Mexico contestant for the Costa Maya Pageant; she is 25-year-old, Monica Fernanda Hernandez Reynaga (left side of above photo). Monica Reynaga is a proud Industrial Engineer student who enjoys sports and being active as her favorite pastime. Monica's passions focus on her participation in beauty pageants, modeling, and her career.

Miss Panama is 22-year-old, Katherina Aurora Rios Cabrales. Katherina Aurora Rios Cabrales is currently on her second year attending La Universidad Latina pursuing a degree in Psychology. Katherina is no stranger to beauty pageants as she boasts previous experience in participating in the Se�orita Panam� 2018 where she represented Isla del Rey and has also modeled for Physical Modelos modeling agency.

Miss Belize and Miss El Salvador announced for Reina de la Costa Maya

Proudly representing Belize at this year's Reina de la Costa Maya pageant is Jenelli Shanice Fraser. This 27 year-old beauty is presently a student in pursuit of a bachelor's degree in criminal justice in the hopes of becoming a Forensic Psychologist to assist in the efforts of understanding criminal behavior and helping with crime prevention. Having been able to represent her country internationally at the highest level of pageantry - Miss Universe, Fraser has gained a platform where she hopes to impact people positively about self-esteem, body awareness, and social issues while remaining true to herself.



Miss El Salvador is 5'5", 20-year-old, Debora Raquel Guadron Rauda, who is currently pursuing a career to be a judge and is a full-time student at Universidad de El Salvador studying Legal Sciences. She aims to become a successful businesswoman and hopes to continue to help and better her country through her career and to moreover become a well-rounded individual to improve her defects on her journey.

NOCHE SAN PEDRANA

We invite everyone to be a part of NOCHE SAN PEDRANA - A street affair! On this night, the delegates from the Central American countries and Mexico vying for the title of Miss Costa Maya 2019 will be presented with their official sash and they will be presenting themselves in their traditional costume, a dress by a designer of their country and lastly, a national gift - all of this will be judged and be a part of the Preliminary Competition.

There will be entertainment by the San Pedro Dance Academy, El Criminal, Rompe Raja, the Pandemonium Steel Band and Caribbean Kings.

Costa Maya Festival Committee presents Miss Honduras and Miss Nicaragua

Honduras' Kerelyne Isell Campigoti Webster is an intern in the tourism industry who enjoys collecting postcards and painting feminine figures. She aims to complete her university career and to become an international model in Italy. One of her greatest accomplishments was being crowned Miss World Honduras 2016. She describes herself as being straightforward, caring and honest and believes in never being afraid. She enjoys serving anyone who most is in need of assistance and is very grateful to be a woman as they are one of the only beings capable of giving birth.

Proudly representing Nicaragua, Diana Sof�a Lo�isiga Ramos is aspiring to be a successful businesswoman currently enrolled as a full-time Business Administration student. She aims to focus on the completion of her studies to allow her to develop herself in what she enjoys and explore the world of cosmetics and create her own line of facial and cosmetic care. She describes herself as an adventurous, honest and caring person who dislikes bullying, especially to the children and elderly.
