General Situation:
Ambergris Caye: Conditions this morning by Elbert just before or after this post!
Belize NMS: Present Condition: Cloudy. A moderate and gusty east-southeasterly airflow dominates our weather.
Advisories: *Small Craft Caution in effect for gusty winds and occasionally rough seas.*
24-hour forecast: Sunny skies with a few cloudy spells today and partly cloudy skies tonight. Showers or thunderstorms will be isolated.
Winds: East-Southeast | 10-20 kts | Gusty, Sea State: Moderate-Rough

Outlook: For Tuesday and Tuesday night is for mainly fair weather with only isolated showers developing.

The Caribbean Sea

An upper level trough passes through the Atlantic Ocean near 24N56W, beyond the NE part of the Caribbean Sea near 18N64W, continuing toward La Peninsula de la Guajira of northern Colombia. Rainshowers are possible within 120 nm on either side of the trough.

The monsoon trough is along 09N/10N between Colombia and Costa Rica. Isolated moderate to locally strong rainshowers are in the coastal areas of Panama near 80W, Costa Rica, and SE Nicaragua.

The tightening surface pressure gradient, between the Atlantic Ocean ridge and the Colombia low pressure, will allow the wind speeds to pulse to minimal gale-force off the coasts of Colombia and Venezuela at night starting tonight. Fresh to strong winds are expected to pulse in the Gulf of Honduras at night.

OP Marty	The Caribbean easterly winds are now heavily into clouds, but only a few small light rain showers. The high level clouds are very thin and patchy. Looks like today will be mainly cloudy,but with patches of strong sunshine and a chance of the odd rain shower. Temperatures in Belmopan : ( Coast usually cooler, hills even cooler ) Last night min. 25°C 77°F Yesterday max. 33°C 91°F Yesterday & Night Rain 0 mm (0.0" )
