Presidential Elections in Guatemala are in process. 19 candidates ran, with the first votes this past Sunday.
Sandra Torres has a chance in the run-offs. She was raised in Melchor, and her VP is married to a Belizean.
Does her potential Presidency bode well for the boarder/territory dispute? Would it be possible to settle this before our very expensive trip to IJC?
Anybody out there with a well-founded sense of how this could play out?
