General Situation:
Ambergris Caye: Conditions this morning by Elbert just before or after this post!
Belize NMS: Present Condition: Clear skies. A weak tropical wave is affecting the country. Advisories: None.
24-hour forecast: Cloudy spells with a few showers and isolated thunderstorms around the country this morning , becoming isolated this afternoon.

The Caribbean Sea

Three tropical waves are over the basin. A small upper level low is centered N of N Colombia near 13N75W enhancing scattered showers. Scattered moderate to isolated strong convection is over Costa Rica and Panama, due to the eastern extent of the East Pacific monsoon trough. Scatterometer data depicts moderate to fresh trades across the basin, with an area of strong trades in the Central Caribbean between 72W-76W.

High pressure north of the area will maintain fresh to strong trade winds in the south-central Caribbean into the weekend, pulsing to near gale force during the nights along the coast of Colombia and over the Gulf of Venezuela. Strong winds will expand northward towards Hispaniola adjacent waters and the Windward Passage today as high pressure strengthens and a tropical wave moves across the central basin. Winds in the northern-central basin will diminish on Sat as the wave moves over the western Caribbean.

elbert	On Ambergris Caye this morning the sea around our barrier reef is very calm and our sky is clear. We have a breeze from the East at 13 mph and the expected high temperature is 87 f. A nice sunny day! White Sands Dive Shop https://whitesandsdiveshop.com/

OP Marty	Not much weather around us at present, the easterly Caribbean clouds should build during the morning and reduce this afternoon. There are 3 areas of cloud across the Atlantic coming off Africa, none appear to have any rotation. Looks like today will be similar to yesterday, sun with significant cloud, little or no rain. Temperatures in Belmopan : ( Coast usually cooler, hills even cooler ) Last night min. 24°C 75°F Yesterday max. 33°C 91°F Yesterday Rain 0 mm (0.0" )
