General Situation:
Ambergris Caye: Conditions this morning by Elbert just before or after this post!
Belize NMS: Present Condition: Partly Cloudy. Fair and warm weather prevails. Advisories: None.
24-hour forecast: Sunny with cloudy spells today and partly cloudy skies tonight. Showers or thunderstorms will be isolated, especially over inland areas this afternoon.
Winds: Variable | 5-10 kts, Sea State: Slight

Outlook: For Wednesday is for only isolated showers. Slightly more showers with isolated thunderstorms will affect the south Wednesday night.
Tropical Weather Outlook: -At 3:00am Hurricane Dorian was centered near 26.9N 78.4W or about 35 miles NNE of Freeport Grand Bahama Island. Dorian was stationary with maximum sustained winds of 120 mph. -An elongated area of low pressure over the Atlantic a few hundred miles West of the Cabo Verde Islands has a high chance of becoming a tropical depression during the next day or so. -Potential Tropical Cyclone 7 was located near 23.5N 94.3W or about 245 niles ENE of Tampico, Mexico. The Caribbean Sea

There is a tropical wave currently across the central Caribbean. Isolated moderate convection is over the Windward Islands from 10N-15N between 60W-64W. Similar convection is along the coast of E Cuba from 19N-22N between 74W-76W. Scattered moderate convection is inland over Belize. Scatterometer data depicts gentle to moderate trades across the central Caribbean with light to gentle trades across the rest of the basin.

Of note in the upper levels, a small upper level low is centered over W Honduras near 15N86W enhancing convection.

The tropical wave over the central Caribbean will reach the western Caribbean Wed and exit west of the Caribbean Fri night. Moderate to fresh winds are expected across the eastern and central Caribbean, with gentle to moderate winds prevailing over the NW Caribbean.

Marty OP	This morning, our weather is strange, looks as if the west or NW winds that caused last lights rain have pushed the Caribbean air out into the sea and now stopped. So the Caribbean air is moving up north. There is a trace of mid-height cloud from the north and that is then pushing away from Belize towards the SE, presently, very little cloud over Belize. Looks as if today will be mainly sunny, with some clouds building later this morning, a small chance of any rain. Temperatures in Belmopan : ( Coast usually cooler, hills even cooler ) Last night min. 24°C 75°F Yesterday max. 35°C 95°F Yesterday Rain 0 mm (0.0" )

Marty OP	HURRICANE DORIAN is weakening more than they showed this morning, it is now Cat.2. Here in Belize, cloud is now starting to build over the land, due to the sun on the ground, causing warm air to rise up until it starts to condense, producing clouds. They might develop to produce a little rain this afternoon in the mountains.
