On Ambergris Caye this morning the wind is from the North at 13 mph, placing the barrier in the islands lee, creating a calm sea state around our reef. It's a sunny day with an expected high temperature in the upper 80's.

Both the Caribbean winds and the higher level clouds all coming down from the north, causing cooler temperatures, but causing a lot of rain showers all over the place. A batch of rain came down over Belize during the night and there is more around, presently, mainly over the sea but probably more rain patches will come over land later today.

Looks another mixed day, sunshine in parts of the south at present thin cloud in the north and thick cloud over much of central Belize, this pattern will continue to change during the day and with a high chance of more rain showers.

There is cold air moving in from the NW causing some rain to just develop over some land areas. The main rain is still out at sea.

Present Condition: Partly Cloudy
Skies will be sunny with some cloudy spells during the daytime and cloudy at times tonight. Showers or thunderstorms will be isolated this afternoon, then a few showers and isolated thunderstorms will occur mostly over southern and some coastal areas tonight and tomorrow morning.
