On Ambergris Caye this morning the breeze is from the North at 16 mph. The sea is calm around our barrier reef because of it being in the islands lee but I hear from the fisherman that the flats on the West side are very rough. The morning is sunny and cool with an expected high temperature for the day set at 82 f.

Cold air is definitely coming down from the north today, and will continue all day, some high level winds from the SW clashing off Honduras causing rain out at sea. A lot of cloud out at sea, but on land, there is still some fog or low cloud over the mountains.

North Belize is mainly sunny by now, just thin cloud, and the rest of Belize is probably going to see a lot of sunshine later today. Looks as if today will be mainly sunshine, after the morning clouds have moved southwards, little or no rain expected.
