General Situation:
Ambergris Caye: Conditions this morning by Elbert just before or after this post!
Belize NMS: Present Condition: Thin clouds on the mainland, soon to burn off. Clear in the atolls, Ambergris Caye, and along the shore on the mainland. Mainly fair and cool conditions will continue today with a slight increase in moisture tomorrow. Advisories: None.
24-hour forecast: Mostly sunny skies today and clear to partly cloudy skies tonight. Little or no rainfall is expected.

The Caribbean Sea

A surface trough extends from the Turks and Caicos Islands through the Windward Passage to near Jamaica. Isolated moderate convection is near the trough axis. Isolated showers are also present in the western Caribbean from 10N-20N between 81W-85W in an area of slightly higher moisture content. The latest ASCAT pass shows moderate N winds from 12N-21N between 78W-83W. Fresh NE winds will prevail across most of the western Caribbean through Fri morning, with highest winds expected in the Windward Passage.

OP Marty	Tropical Storm Sebastien forms Tropical Storm Sebastien is near 21.0N 61.0W at 20/0900 UTC, or about 205 nm NE of the northern Leeward Islands. Sebastien is moving NW at 7 kt. The estimated minimum central pressure is 1002 mb. Maximum sustained winds are 45 kt with gusts to 55 kt. Numerous moderate with scattered strong convection extends outward to 240 nm in the SE quadrant. Scattered moderate convection is elsewhere within 300 nm in the SE quadrant. Sebastian will turn to the north today and move to near 23N 61W tonight. The cyclone is forecast to become extratropical Thu night as it reaches near 29N 54.5W. Some strengthening is forecast through Thursday. Sebastien is expected to become absorbed by a cold front on Friday. For more information, check the daily Tropical Weather Outlook, click here

OP Marty	Currently sunny. Looks as if the Caribbean winds are fighting back against the cold air bubble that has been over us for the last few days. It has been riding up and over the cold air and has been causing a little rain up north. Only a light surface wind from the SW at present. Presently clear skies over most of Belize, a little cloud over north Corozal, more cloud likely to develop later. Temperatures in Belmopan : ( Coast usually cooler, hills even cooler ) Last night min. 16°C 60°F Yesterday max. 28°C 82°F Yesterday Rain 0.0 mm ( 0.0" )

OP Marty	Present Condition: Sunny 24hr Forecast: Mostly sunny skies today and clear to partly cloudy skies tonight. Little or no rainfall is expected. The Caribbean winds are pushing strongly in over north Belize now. I have put a dotted blue line where the cold air front in, causing the Caribbean winds to ride up over the cold air, it is sort of mid-level cloud, not normal Caribbean easterly cloud. So I have used both white and pink arrows. Again a little Caribbean air movement over southern Belize, but clouds just forming over the mountains, due to air being heated by the Sun and rising, up to a height that the moisture in the air then condenses out to form clouds. There is only a very little bit of rain out at sea up north.
