Depends on whether you prefer fun & relaxation in the water, or a little history and hiking... You choose, but my personal favorite is the Manatee Watch/Snorkeling/Beach BBQ trip with SEArious Adventures. It's a full day, $75, and it includes a fabulous lunch, drinks (pop, water, rum punch, Belikin). You'll see manatees playing, have lots of opportunity to snorkel, and enjoy lunch on a quiet little island (quiet if there are no other tour companies there on the same day). Then off to another snorkel spot with sharks & rays you can swim with on the way to Caye Caulker, where you finish off your day with a stroll down the street, look in the shops or cool off with a drink at a bar. It's a great day. I've done it twice and will do it on every trip.

If you like more history, opt for SEArious' Lamanai trip. It's a long day with lots of boat travel, but you get to see a lot of wild life (crocs, birds, howler monkeys, etc.), and the Mayan ruins are amazing.

You can find SEArious on the dock at Ruby's. Anyone can tell you where it is once you get there.

Have a blast!

My husband and I go to A/c in Feb for three
weeks. This is my favorite thing to do.
We rent the catamaran EL GATO with Capt Geraldo and 1st Mate Justo. We go to Caye Caulker on a Day trip, stopping on the way
to snorkel at Shark and Ray Alley. We have lunch and explore the island for a couple of hours. Then sail back stopping again for a
snorkel. This makes for a wonderful relaxing day.
Check out EL GATO's website go to GOODS AND SERVICES then to TOUR And TOUR GUIDES then to EL GATO.

As far as riuns I also loved Lamuni. The boat ride was so interesting seeing all different birds and I love the howler monkeys.
Have great time on A/C.

D Bradt - I am getting married and honeymooning in February. Where are you staying? Also how much is it to rent the cat for the day like that? I think that is all we really want to do while on AC.

Have to agree w/the Caulker daysail (or any sail for that matter) on the ElGato. Geraldo & Justo are great! I've been along the last 3 years w/dbrandt and no better way to spend a vaca! (hi bb - still lurking sometimes too i see [Linked Image] )
