So it looks like the weather in A.C. has taken a turn for the worse...will this affect our diving plans? I had planned at least two tanks a day, starting next week.... I suppose visibility would be the challenge - and then there's that pesky lightening... Any divers have any thoughts on that?

There's no problem diving when it's raining, (as long as there's no lightening, as you pointed out). It's just that much better when the sun is shining into the water. So you should be able to do your two tanks a day anyway.
Don't pay too much attention to the weather reports that you see for Belize City. They are rarely indicative of what is actually going to happen on AC.
A fish and a bird can fall in love, but where will they build their nest?

I remember the first time I dove in the rain. we were down about 40 feet, and it sounded like a few power boats were going by. We looked up and saw that it was raining. It was just really cool. I did not realize, before that, that we would be able to hear the rain hitting the ocean during a storm.
