The Caribbean winds are presently from the SE with thin cloud over most of north Belize and coastal areas further south. But the Haze that we have been experiencing over the last few days is heavier this morning and you can now clearly see it out at sea. It looked originally as significant water vapour, but the orange tint to it says other wise. And as you can see, there are so very many fires around that it is putting so much smoke up very high into the air. Not only does this cause a significant blanket, keeping night temperatures up high, but also adding to the heat, being brought from Guatamala by the high SW winds.
Looks as if today will be a hot hazy day, definitely no rain, although those swellups will probably happen over Guatamala mountains this evening.
Temperatures in Belmopan : ( Coast usually cooler, hills even cooler )
Last night min. 24°C 75°F Yesterday max. 33°C 91°F Yesterday Rain 0.0 mm ( 0" )
