On Ambergris Caye this morning the sky is clearing and our gift of rain seems over. The breeze is from the East at 12 mph. calming the sea around our barrier reef. Today's expected high temperature is 86 f.

The high level cloud over Belize is now generally thinner, but some of the easterly Caribbean cloud is bubbling up over Toledo and Orange Walk districts and a few other places. It would not surprise me to see some patches of rain today, but not like the last two days. The line that caused that heavy rain is now down over Honduras, but there is possibly another line moving our way, not clear how near it will get to us over the next 2 - 3 days.

Looks as if today will be mainly cloudy, a few patches of sun, and there could be some patches of rain anywhere.

High level cloud generally fairly thin, not causing much clashing, but could be more this afternoon.
But look at that second active line of weather crossing our way, over the gulf. . . Will it catch us over night, tomorrow or miss us. ? . . Too close to call at present.

Tthere are swellups along our western border, and lightning. Quite a bit of wet weather cloud now. Been raining since 4 pm in Succotz. Thunder, lightning. A thunderstorm alert has been issued by the National Meteorological Service, stating that "strong thunderstorms, at times accompanied by gusty winds" is affecting mainly the south of the country.
