The easterly Caribbean winds have some cloud in them an it will build more over land this morning. The high level winds are still from the NE, occasionally clashing, causing the odd spots or rain over night, and could be some this morning. . . What do they mean by a tropical wave? Well the typical high level winds come from the SW, sometimes over north Mexico, sometimes over southern Mexico and Belize and sometimes further south over Panama, and sometimes two of them at the same time. Well there is now one over Panama, which has been causing many ITCZ swellups and heavy rains in the southern Caribbean for some days now. This has been slowly moving further north and now it is over Nicaragua and moving into Honduras, so will probably effect Belize, possibly later this afternoon or tonight.
Looks like much of today will be sunny, with significant clouds, a possibility of the odd rain shower. Could be more rain later today.
