On Ambergris Caye this morning the sea around our Barrier Reef is calm and the sky is clear. The breeze is from the East at 8 mph. It's a beautiful warm Monday with an expected high temperature of 88 f.
The Caribbean winds are steadily from the east, turning slightly south, in the south, to go round the mountains. But there is a bubble of high level cloud coming down from the NE which is causing significant rains.
Temperatures in Belmopan : ( Coast usually cooler, hills even cooler ) Last night min. 26°C 79°F Yesterday max. 34°C 93°F Yesterday Rain 0.2 mm ( 0")
The easterly Caribbean clouds are getting thick in places inland, that could cause the odd small rain shower. The heavier, more significant high cloud coming down from the NE has been thinning, but could still bring some significant showers to San Pedro or northern parts of Belize.
Present Condition: Mostly clear, a few clouds in the south. Mainly fair and warm weather conditions prevail. 24hr Forecast: Sunny skies with a few cloudy spells during the daytime and partly cloudy skies tonight. Showers or thunderstorms will be isolated.
